Religious Education
“Got Class?”: To teach a class of young members of the
Catholic Church is an opportunity… Well, here we have it! We need
you to teach Religious Education at St. Jude the Apostle Church. If
able to teach young people and young adults, your opportunity
awaits.
We are looking for dynamic teachers who have a love of the Catholic
Faith and are engaged in the lives of young people. Please call Anne
Osborn at the Religious Education Office if you would like to accept
a teaching position of either, Pre-School (4 & 5 year olds), 6th &
7th grade, 9, 10 or 11.

“Got Faith?”
The faith of a mustard seed accomplishes more than we can ever
imagine! If you know of someone who is an adult and has questions
about the Catholic Faith and would be interested in sacramental
preparation as an adult (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist),
please contact either Rev. Johnathan Schmolt at 833-0927 or Anne
Osborn at the Religious Education Office (838-6225). The RCIA group
will begin meeting this September! Don’t miss out on this great
opportunity of faith formation.

Youth Group
Look for the NEW Youth Group Schedule in the coming weeks!!
Well, we all had a very exciting summer together. From Cedar Point
to Habitat for Humanity to rock climbing to our annual Fair Trade
Fair, we did it all. However, just as you are all getting ready for
the change that the end of those halcyon days of summer will bring
we are getting ready to bring you a fall filled with fast paced
Youth Group excitement. So, enjoy the remaining lazy, hazy, crazy
days of summer and keep your eyes peeled for the new Fall Schedule
arriving in the coming weeks.

Grandparents Out of Town?
Would you or your family like to adopt an aging parishioner as a
foster grandparent? One of our recent high school graduates
did just that. She and her family have been visiting an elderly
parishioner for the past three years and have treated her as if she
were one of their family. We have a number of aging parishioners who
have no family here in town and would love to have a regular
visitor. If you can help, please call Patty Wellington at 833-8760.
(Confirmation students can use such visits for service hours, but we
prefer students or families who can commit to a longer relationship
than just for the summer.)

Need Answers?
If you or someone you know is an adult and has questions for and
about the Catholic Church...keep reading. If you or someone you know
has either: never been baptized, been baptized but not raised
Catholic or has not received the Sacraments
of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation) in the Catholic
Church and would like to --- please call Anne in the Religious
Education Office at (838-6225).
