HISTORY
In
2005, the members of our church celebrated the 50th
anniversary of the beginnings of our parish. It was on
September 30, 1955 that our church began with masses in
a borrowed chapel at St. Joseph’s Home for Children (now
St. Joseph Apartments). In the decades since then,
through the work of thousands of dedicated members, we
have become a large and vibrant faith community.
Now, as we begin the year 2006, we know
that we build on the splendid work of our founders. We
strive to continue to grow as a community that welcomes
and reaches out to people of all ages. If you take a few
